Just wondering if anyone is out there. I would love to see some comments, even if they are short, just to know what your thoughts are on my posts! When I blogged on Xanga (in the dark ages), I loved some of the conversations that my circle of friends/readers started in response to different posts.
Don’t be scared! 😀
Fry? Fry? … Sorry I haven’t engaged lately. Been tied up with work and visiting family, but I am reading and enjoying your flurry of posts. Will be back in the forum soon.

I often read your blogs, but in my inbox 🙂 Now that I’m out here I will tell you that I love the new web design. And I am fascinated by the book you are reading. ❤

Thank you! The book is really very, very good. I am dealing with some unforeseen family issues and it has been very helpful. As I mentioned earlier, I was looking for a completely different book (Jesus Feminist by Sarah Bessey) and Epic Grace caught my eye. I’m pretty sure it’s the one I was meant to buy. 🙂

Cora and I read Jesus Feminist to discuss it. Um….. Neither one of us would recommend it. Nothing really earth shattering. A smattering of progressivism but for the most part go-hum.

She had another friend recommend it — agreed with some people of it, not all. My independently minded girl wanted to check it out. I plan on reading it, too.

We don’t either, but I think we’re at that stage where we have to discover these things for ourselves. I expect if it’s too whiny, she will throw up her hands and blow it off.
I think the word “feminist” in the title grabbed her curiosity, because she’s trying to figure out how you can be an independent woman and follow Jesus… Rather than a prairie muffin. 😉
